Job Overview
The Fraser Health organization is seeking a qualified Neuropsychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and two years of recent experience in neuropsychological assessment.About the Role
This role provides a comprehensive range of neuropsychological services, including assessments, consultations, and supervision of psychology students and interns. Key responsibilities include:- Providing a comprehensive oral and written assessment of client functioning;
- Conducting assessments through various treatment modalities;
- Offering consultation to colleagues on assessment and treatment issues;
- Maintaining confidential client clinical records;
- Supervising psychology students and interns;
- Performing other related duties as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology;
- Two years of recent experience in neuropsychological assessment;
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC), or eligibility for registration;
- A valid BC Drivers License and possession of a personal vehicle for business use, if applicable;
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmental theories, family and social dynamics, treatment and behavior management modalities, psychological and neuropsychological testing and interpretation;
- The ability to prepare comprehensive written assessments;
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of relevant legislation and service delivery systems.
