About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Bankwest. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in defining business needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and synthesise large amounts of information from differing sources to inform the future state of our business.
  • Define feature requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria with the customer experience and business goals in mind.
  • Document business/functional requirements and processes using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes.
  • Enable, motivate, direct and continuously develop a committed, empowered, and high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years business analysis experience.
  • Banking and Finance Industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with API as in contributions to a schema.
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to synthesise business and technical requirements/concepts and present them in simple terms.
  • Experience with both traditional and Agile delivery practices including backlog creation and refinement, and associated requirements gathering, discovery and analysis.
  • Ability to work well with dynamic technical teams, business stakeholders and 3rd party providers.
About Us

We are a large group of Technical & Business Analysts who support large-scale project delivery for Bankwest. As part of the Business Analysis Chapter, you will be embedded within the squads, supporting our integration into the CBA Group and the regulatory changes required to maintain our compliance.

We operate in a hybrid working environment, meaning a blend between being in the office and working remotely. We are also able to offer these roles as either full time or 3 - 4 days a week part time.
