Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst at Bankwest, you will play a critical role in defining business needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to our customers. With a focus on customer experience and delivering value, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions for technology-enabled products.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and synthesise large amounts of information from differing sources to inform the future state
  • Define feature requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria with the customer experience and business goals in mind
  • Document business/functional requirements and processes using standard analysis methodologies and tools
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes
  • Enable, motivate, direct and continuously develop a committed, empowered, and high-performing team
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum five years business analysis experience
  • Banking and Finance Industry experience would be an advantage
  • Experience working with API as in contributions to a schema
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to synthesise business and technical requirements/concepts and present them in simple terms
  • Experience with both traditional and Agile delivery practices including backlog creation and refinement, and associated requirements gathering, discovery and analysis
  • Ability to work well with dynamic technical teams, business stakeholders and 3rd party providers
