Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Procurement Officer to lead our global procurement efforts, driving strategic sourcing initiatives and optimizing supply chain processes. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join a rapidly growing organization and contribute to its success.

About the Role

As Chief Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies that drive cost savings, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships. Your expertise will be crucial in negotiating contracts, managing vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies to optimize quality, cost savings, and inventory levels.
  • Lead the procurement team and provide coaching and mentorship to ensure high-performance standards.
  • Manage procurement and inventory budgets, ensuring products meet or exceed pricing expectations.
  • Negotiate purchase contracts, qualify vendors, and oversee vendor compliance.
  • Monitor contract performance, enforce terms and conditions, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within procurement and inventory functions.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A post-secondary degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, with a master's degree considered an asset.
  • At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and contract management, with 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of procurement, contract law, and supply chain management principles.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • An analytical mindset with a proven ability to recognize trends and drive strategic decisions.


Compensation and Benefits

Our client offers a competitive salary range of $140,000-$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
