Overview:
- As a key member of the Mental Health and Substance Use Program at Fraser Health, the Associate Physician (AP) in Mental Health & Psychiatry provides high-quality care to inpatients, adhering to the organization's Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitments.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and participating in patient rounds under the supervision of senior medical staff.
- This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, participation in quality improvement projects, and engagement in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- A medical degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of two years of postgraduate training in a relevant field.
- Successful completion of relevant medical examinations.
- Proficiency in English and eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).

- Demonstrates leadership qualities and ability to create a positive and supportive work environment.
