Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Specialist

As a Physiotherapist at WCB Alberta, you will play a significant role in a multi-discipline team setting to enhance the rehabilitation experience and outcomes for our clients. We are seeking individuals who are interested in delivering leading edge clinical services, consistently focus on innovation and creativity in customer service and always treat clients with fairness and respect.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1 on 1 physical therapy treatment and assessment
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders such as surgeons, claim owners and employers
  • Deliver interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs
  • Complete functional capacity evaluations (FCEs)
  • Services at employer worksites

Your Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy and eligible for registration with the Physiotherapy Alberta College and Association
  • Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in occupational rehabilitation, orthopedics or sports physiotherapy
  • Computer experience and strong interpersonal skills complemented by well-developed written and verbal communication abilities
  • Reliability and time management skills are integral to your success in this position
  • A valid Alberta Drivers' License and the ability to travel overnight within the province as well as independent travel to complete off-site services is required

Salary: Pay Grade H4M - $79,363.22 to $100,544.74 per annum

In accordance with the Collective Agreement between HSAA and WCB (Millard Health)
