Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support our Global Functions Technology Portfolio of Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into high-quality IT solutions, working closely with business users to understand their needs, and collaborating with development teams to design and implement strategic infrastructure for risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a functional breakdown of the strategic market risk transformation roadmap for market risk systems and guide its implementation
  • Work closely with business users to understand business requirements and demonstrate system functionality
  • Prepare high-level and detailed requirements specifications for the project in accordance with SDLC objectives
  • Perform day-to-day business analysis tasks, including documentation of requirements, data analysis, and UAT
  • Collaborate with development teams to explain requirements, validate design assumptions, and testing
  • Develop new approaches to support Data Analytics, including Machine Learning and AI
  • Support QA teams in creating UAT test cases against business requirements
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience working with Capital Markets and/or Market Risk Management solutions
  • Understanding of financial instruments, including rates derivatives, credit derivatives, equity derivatives, FX options, and FX cash, and their valuation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across IT and Business
  • Ability to succinctly articulate requirements, summarize data analysis, and present to business users and development teams
  • Strong data analysis skills, with hands-on SQL, including analyzing large data sets and visualizing data
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good understanding of Basel regulatory environment and its evolution and challenges
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and experience with continuous integration development
  • Professional risk/finance certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA)
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Anaconda, Pandas, Jupyter, and working with developers using a technology stack that includes Linux, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and other big data technologies
