Job Summary

We are looking for a talented legal professional to represent our clients in complex civil liability cases. The ideal candidate will have a passion for defending the rights of individuals and companies, and will be responsible for designing effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Judicial Representation: Represent clients in civil liability matters, including disputes related to negligence, personal injury, and injury claims.
  • Case Management: Manage civil liability cases from opening to resolution, ensuring each file is complete, well-organized, and ready for hearings or negotiations.
  • Legal Strategy: Develop innovative legal strategies to resolve civil liability disputes, analyzing facts, evaluating evidence, and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate out-of-court settlements to avoid lengthy and costly lawsuits, while protecting clients' interests.
  • Drafting of Legal Documents: Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards and court requirements.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of file progress and answering questions with clarity and empathy.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil liability law.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex legal situations and propose innovative solutions.
  • Personal Qualities: Rigor, sense of organization, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure, with excellent negotiating skills and collaboration abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in technological tools for case management and legal research.
