Work Schedule:- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Fridays: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Warner School is a dynamic learning community serving students from Early Learning to grade 12 in a rural setting, approximately 69 km south of Lethbridge, Alberta. Our team of 18 staff members provides a supportive environment for approximately 105 students.
About the Role:The School Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of Warner School. This challenging position requires a candidate who is child-centered, team-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform administrative duties to support the school's operations
- Coordinate and manage schedules and meetings
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff
- Manage confidential and sensitive information
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and parents
- Post-secondary training in Office Administration or equivalent experience
- Excellent computer and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Pleasant, helpful, positive, and enthusiastic nature
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultures
- Experience with POWERSCHOOL, ATRIEVE, KEV/School Cash, and Google Drive products
- Knowledge of website design and development
