Job Title: Bricklayer

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at Heritage Masonry. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build structures, walls, and other architectural features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build structures, walls, and other architectural features.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Instruct apprentices.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity licence check.
  • Valid driver's licence.
Work Environment:

As a Bricklayer at Heritage Masonry, you will work on various construction sites, including residential, commercial, and institutional projects. You will be required to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and in a fast-paced environment.
