Job Title: Masonry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Heritage Masonry. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build walls, chimneys, and other structures.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on masonry techniques.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in masonry or a related field.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You must be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment and be willing to relocate for this position.
