About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Unique Custom Doors Inc. as a Precision Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture high-quality components and parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Control: Compute and verify dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Workpiece Preparation: Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
  • Machinery Setup and Operation: Set up and adjust production machineries/tools, including conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, and document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Inspection and Testing: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, and inspect products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Proficiency in operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, withstanding physically demanding conditions, including standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, and a team player with initiative.
