Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team at KFM Business Solutions Inc.

Overview: As a skilled finish carpenter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship in the construction and renovation of various establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs.
  • Design and implement layouts that meet building codes using measuring tools.
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Create tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Built foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on-site.
  • Evaluate costs and materials needed for projects.
  • Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software and other computer systems.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for project assignments.
