About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Frac Sand Terminal Operator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our frac sand terminal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading frac sand from trucks and railcars, and storing it in designated bins.
- Weighing trucks prior to loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate records.
- Inspecting and maintaining all equipment associated with terminal operation, including grease and oil.
- Reporting any concerns or hazards to the Terminal Manager and/or HSE Manager.
- Ensuring compliance with provincial and federal laws, procedures, and standards.
- Coordinating with other work crews on location.
- Working with the Source HSE framework to ensure safe operations and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain a respectful work culture.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug, alcohol, and fit suitability testing.
- Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
