Job Overview

DT Equipment Repair Inc. is a premier mobile heavy equipment maintenance and repair provider operating primarily in Western Canada & the Territories. Specializing in embedded contracts in Oil/Gas, Mining, Logging, and Heavy Civil Construction.

We are seeking qualified Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technicians to run DT Equipment Service Trucks in Fly In/Fly Out positions in Central, Western & Northern Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe and ethical operation of our service truck, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment deficiencies, communicating with site management to coordinate maintenance priorities, maintaining maintenance records, and promoting safety awareness by ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with CAT, Sandvik, Epiroc, Maclean, Komatsu Underground Equipment. You should have experience with Scoops, Trucks, Drills, Bolters, and other Ancillary Equipment. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Mining. Your ability to deal with large volumes of work and demanding situations will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Safe operation of DT Equipment Repair Inc. Service Truck
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with heavy equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
