About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Culinary Specialist to join our team at Tonys Grill House Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Procurement and Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring that our inventory levels are always optimal.

Culinary Expertise

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Kitchen Operations Supervision

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Workplace Safety and Hygiene

Inspect kitchens and food service areas regularly to maintain a clean and safe working environment, and implement measures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Supply Chain Management

Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen operations are always running smoothly.

Team Leadership

Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

At least 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
