Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Hart Stores is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on products and services
  • Supervise staff and ensure a positive and productive work environment
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate sales records
  • Provide customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist in display of merchandise and maintain a visually appealing store environment
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
