About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Milltech Millwork Ltd. as a Millwork Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality millwork products, including cabinets, furniture, and other woodwork items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Finishing and Assembly: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Millwork shop.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and a team player.
