About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaking Apprentice to join our team at RBK Millwork Ltd. As a Cabinetmaking Apprentice, you will assist our experienced craftsmen in the production of high-quality custom cabinets and millwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction of custom cabinets and millwork
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Prepare and apply laminated plastics
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment
  • Ability to work in a custom cabinet shop, millwork shop, or commercial setting
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary safety equipment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cabinetmaking or woodworking
  • Knowledge of millwork and custom cabinet construction
