About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Derrickhand to join our team at Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited. As a Derrickhand, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attach pumps and hoses to wellhead and ensure proper connections for smooth drilling operations.
  • Operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps to achieve optimal drilling performance.
  • Write daily progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of drilling progress and any challenges encountered.
  • Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, and other mechanical equipment to ensure reliable operation.
  • Read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedures accordingly to maintain drilling efficiency.
  • Assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting drilling and service rigs to ensure timely and safe relocation.
  • Mix chemicals and cements as required for drilling operations.
