Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at A-1 Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that all kitchen equipment and utensils are in good working order, and supporting our chefs in preparing high-quality meals.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Will train on the job.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- 40 hours per week.
- English is the primary language of communication in this role.
