Senior Scrum Master Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. in Downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating agile teams, facilitating product and extended team work, and managing the agile process for multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

Agile Project Management

  1. Experience setting up agile environments and leading teams through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
  2. Experience with user-centred design practices and iterative approaches to product development and testing.
  3. Experience with agile engineering methods and internet technologies such as REST and semantic markup.

Collaboration and Facilitation

  1. Experience planning and facilitating product and extended team work through collaborative and interactive sessions.
  2. Experience managing agile processes for multi-disciplinary teams.
  3. Experience helping product teams become better at autonomously organizing their work.

Communications and Relationships

  1. Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience navigating complex issues and stakeholders.
  2. Experience building strong relationships across organizations.
  3. Experience creating and presenting information for different audiences.
  4. Experience communicating timelines and progress to audiences with different levels of experience with agile practices.
  5. Experience flagging and removing obstacles to progress.

Subject Matter Experience with Verifiable Credentials

  1. Experience with verifiable credentials and SSI model implementations.
  2. Understanding of key roles and interactions within the SSI model.
  3. Understanding of major technology components and considerations in support of an SSI model implementation.
