Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The Radiology Team at Castlegar District Hospital invites applications for a Casual Medical Radiation Technologist (X-Ray) to join their team.

This position will work rotating Days and Evenings with the hours being 08:00 to 16:00, 12:00 to 20:00. There is on call associated with this position.

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. Medical Imaging staff at CDH work with a broad demographic of patients in both inpatient (ER, OR, ICU) and outpatient (cast clinic) settings by providing imaging for Trauma (ER), OR procedures, Fluoroscopy, and General XRAY procedures.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A graduate degree from an accredited medical radiography program
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
