About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Quality Machine Works Ltd. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Technical Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Repair machine tools and parts, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Setup and Adjustment: Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet specific production needs.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate boring machines, drill presses, engine lathes, and milling machines to produce high-quality products.
Work Environment

As a Machinist at Quality Machine Works Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have excellent attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
