Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Joseph Pathyul. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living space.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our clients have access to essential items.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to multiple clients.
  • Be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and move with ease.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community centers.
