Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at York Region District School Board. The successful candidate will have experience in conducting formal and informal assessments, providing targeted speech and language strategies, and supervising Speech Language Pathology Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language plans
  • Supervise and support Speech Language Pathology Assistants
  • Provide professional learning to staff on communication strategies
  • Collaborate with the team to support students with complex communication needs
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and supporting students with complex communication needs is an asset.

What We Offer

Competitive salary range: $79,912 - $96,862 per year, plus board-paid benefit coverage.
