Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Axelon Canada. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale transformation projects, managing budgets and capacity planning, and reporting to executive management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage key milestones for various programs and projects
  • Support business management functions, including budget and capacity planning
  • Prepare and deliver executive management reports and supporting collateral
  • Manage daily program oversight throughout the lifecycle of transformation programs
  • Develop and implement a robust project governance structure for the Issuer Services technology group
  • Manage risks and issues, and work with teams to take corrective measurements
  • Communicate with stakeholders and interact with the PMO group to manage program documentation
  • Assess risk and demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding client assets
Requirements:
  • Advanced years of experience as a Project and Program Manager
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on large and complex projects
  • Experience leading projects through Agile/Iterative methodologies
  • Significant experience using JIRA to manage Sprints and project delivery
  • Scrum Master and PMP certification desired
  • Experience working in a technology division of a large banking institution desired
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Extremely organized
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Ability to navigate in a global, large, and complex organization
  • Strong ability to influence without authority
