Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Distribution and Autoclave Attendant to join our Sterile Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting surgical instrumentation from various wards and theatres within the hospital environment and in the community setting.

Main Duties
  • Provide a reliable distribution and collection service of re-usable instruments and stock items to the operating theatres, wards and departments throughout the Trust and Community.
  • Work alongside sterile service department technicians operating sterilisers and carrying out the required recording procedures.
  • Assist in the reprocessing of endoscopes and re-usable instruments as part of the Endoscopy Team.
  • Perform stock control, general housekeeping, and record keeping duties as required.
