>Your Role

We are seeking a seasoned Estimator with a strategic focus to join our dynamic estimating team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering industry-leading energy construction services that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success.

>Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze Client RFP documents to determine Alstar's scope of work and develop comprehensive estimates.
  • Communicate effectively with third-party contractors to gather necessary information and establish pricing for various projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the estimating team to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates, ranging from $1MM to over $100MM.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Management, Project Managers, and Construction Managers.
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Present and justify estimates to senior management, clients, and stakeholders in bid review meetings, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.

>Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience estimating in the oil and gas construction industry, with a focus on fabrication and field construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in oil and gas projects.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam, Navisworks, MS Office, and Google Sheets.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive estimates on complex projects.
