GuruLink is seeking a highly experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead our backend engineering teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and strategy for our software development organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to our engineering teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality software.
  2. Team Management: Manage and develop a team of software engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.
  3. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve our engineering processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
  4. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of software products.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Director of Software Engineering or equivalent role, with a strong track record of technical leadership and team management.
  2. Experience leading multiple squads and larger teams, with a focus on building high-performance teams through recruiting, hiring, and retaining.
  3. Strong technical skills, with expertise in modern technology and best practices, including JavaScript.
  4. Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
