About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Business and Communications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our programs, while advancing your own research and teaching interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and lead curriculum development in two courses: MGMT3210: Business Communications and COMM4501: Roles and Practices in Contemporary Communications
- Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the areas of business and communications
- Provide service to the university and the broader community through committee work, community engagement, and other activities
- Liaise with industry partners and professional associations to advance the university's reputation and partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
- Business or industry experience with a communications focus
- Teaching and curriculum development experience at the post-secondary level
- Strong interpersonal, written, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to respectfully engage with diverse communities and create inclusive classrooms
