We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Manager to join our team at First American. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for overseeing our robust vulnerability management program, ensuring the security and integrity of our technical stack.
Key Responsibilities- Assume a leadership role in our vulnerability management program, working closely with key technical stakeholders to deliver secure and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and implement IT risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the CISO to develop and execute the IT and Enterprise risk management strategy, leveraging industry-accepted frameworks.
- Organize and execute processes to ensure effective management of current and emerging risks, including social engineering testing and evolving techniques.
- Develop and execute the security awareness/training program, working with key stakeholders to review training titles, define and execute training schedules, and strengthen the security culture at First American.
- Provide support to the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program manager, maintaining DR Site, liaising with change management, issue resolution, task scheduling/management, and coordination of testing activities.
- Work with the Identity and Access Management team to establish automated reviews in the future.
- An educational background in Information Security or other related technology-based educational programs at the college or university level.
- Minimum five years' experience in an information security role, covering one or more of the defined responsibilities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (intermediate or higher).
- Proven working experience in project management (coordinating tasks and resources).
- Proven experience with simple data sets and providing simple data analysis using tools such as Excel.
- Technical knowledge of server/network environments, processes to reduce vulnerabilities, and restore the environment to its working state (backup/replication).
