Senior Operations Manager

We're seeking a Senior Operations Manager to drive our growth strategy in the Ontario region. As part of our Field Services Team, you'll be responsible for enhancing our service offerings and leading a close-knit team of engineering specialists.

What you can expect:
- Forecast staffing levels based on current backlog and upcoming pursuits;
- Manage resource levels based on workloads, staff availability, and financial targets;
- Create and maintain a validation system for revenue recognition and allocation;
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering retention and career growth;
- Collaborate with leaders to share resources, expertise, and safety leadership;
- Uphold highest safety and ethical standards, complying with WSP's Code of Conduct;
- Create business plans to support regional and global goals;
- Lead others in identifying innovative solutions;
- Complete site visits and safety inspections;
- Work with Radiation Safety Officers to maintain CNSC compliance;
- Translate complex needs into objectives, plans, and resources.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Technology or Engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in materials or geotechnical field testing and inspection;
- Experience leading teams and managing projects;
- Familiarity with civil construction practices and testing standards;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
