Job Title: Child Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Child Care Worker to join our team at Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre. As a Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
  • Work with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and community partners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality program
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • Experience working with children and families an asset
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
