RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges, and maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safekeeping and control of medications and narcotics, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document resident care, progress, and any concerns or issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent, current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses, and current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and ability to use electronic medical records.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding resident rights.
