Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an approved school of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • At least one year of recent experience in acute or community mental health and substance use settings

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
