Laundry Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Helper to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham. As a Laundry Helper, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure high-quality laundry services for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to clean and finish laundry items.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are neatly presented.
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to achieve a crisp and smooth finish.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Operate fur ironing and glazing equipment to finish fur garments and other fur articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are ready for distribution.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment standards.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain quality control.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our guests by responding to their laundry needs and concerns.
Work Environment:

Our laundry facility is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will work closely with our team to ensure that our guests receive high-quality laundry services. As a Laundry Helper, you will be required to work in a team environment and be flexible with your schedule to meet the demands of our laundry operations.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Will train on the job to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible with your schedule.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to respond to guest needs and concerns.
