Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Quality Inn & Suites High Level. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines. You will also mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals. Additionally, you will hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments
  • Operate fur ironing and glazing equipment to finish fur garments and other fur articles
  • Assemble and bag finished articles
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles
  • Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles
  • Provide customer service

Requirements: We are looking for a Laundry Attendant who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. You will also need to be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
