Bakery Team Member

As a Bakery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry while providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and zoning the bakery area, assisting with stocking and the sale of goods, and adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart.
Key ResponsibilitiesSome of your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise.
- Maintaining and stocking the bakery area to ensure it is fully ready for business.
- Ensuring that merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Preparing bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise.
- Ensuring all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.85. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
