Job Title: Home Support Worker

Rajnish Kaur Lidder is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and assistance to clients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home is safe and healthy.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in the client's home, with occasional travel to other locations.
  • 30 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
  • English language proficiency required.
