Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Millstream Dairy Queen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates for food and labor expenses.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Our fast-paced environment requires a team player who can work effectively in a dynamic setting. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment.
