Job Description:

At Roadx Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver to join our team. This role involves operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods at designated locations.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Inspect Vehicles: Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Perform Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates as necessary.
  • Record Cargo Information: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Credentials:

  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement: Hold a valid Air Brakes Endorsement.
