About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in water drainage, water systems, and sewer systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, design, and manage municipal water, sewer, and drainage system projects.
- Develop engineering solutions to address drainage issues and enhance water and sewer system performance.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, budgets, and schedules to stakeholders.
- Ensure all water, sewer, and drainage systems comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of existing systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- APEGA Certified, or working towards certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a focus on water drainage, water systems, and sewer systems.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as Civil 3D and SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of local, provincial, and federal regulations related to water and sewer systems.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
