Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to acute medical and surgical populations
- Administer medications and perform physical assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card
- Experience working with and advocating for the elderly
- Medication administration certification and experience
- Physical assessment and wound care skills
- Enteral feeding experience and maintenance of IV lines
- Experience with electronic documentation
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record
