We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Meat Barbecue Ltd. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meats, vegetables, and sides
- Ensure that all food is cooked to a high standard and presented attractively
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth service and high customer satisfaction
- Participate in menu planning and preparation, and contribute to the development of new recipes
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Work in a restaurant environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and high customer expectations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
