Transforming Mining with Data-Driven Insights

As a Geoscience Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and sustainability in the mining industry. Your expertise will help us develop cutting-edge solutions that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and minimize environmental impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our GeoScience team to develop data-driven models that optimize mine grade control processes.
- Work with clients worldwide to integrate our technology into their operations, showcasing the value of our systems through detailed analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of prediction models by correlating mine grade measurements with our sensor results, identifying patterns and trends that inform our products and services.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous analysis and comparison with sampled assay grades or estimates.
- Present data insights to internal teams and external clients, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, promoting a positive company culture and supporting the growth and development of all colleagues.
Requirements:
- Degree in Earth Sciences, Geophysics, Geostatistics, Data Analytics, or Mining Engineering.
- 1-4 years of experience in mining, preferably with in-grade control or ore control models.
- Experience with statistical analysis or data science in a work setting.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like Python or other statistical packages.
- Passion for problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to travel and support global offices.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $76,000 - $110,000 per year.
