Data Scientist – Vancouver AI Role

We are seeking a skilled AI Developer to join our team at Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc. (QTR) in Vancouver.
This permanent, hybrid role is ideal for someone passionate about AI, machine learning, and data science, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to drive impactful projects.
About the RoleAs an AI Developer, you will work on innovative AI and machine learning solutions that solve real-world problems, enhancing our product offerings and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize AI models for various applications.
Main Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain AI and machine learning models to support product and business objectives.
- Work with data scientists and engineers to preprocess, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and systems.
- Continuously improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Conduct research to stay current with AI/ML advancements, applying new techniques and tools as appropriate.
- Design and develop data pipelines for efficient data processing and model training.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Proven experience in AI/ML development, with expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with R, Java, or C++ is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on high-quality, efficient code.
