Job Description

Job Title: Tax Manager - Corporate Collections

Job Summary:

Baker Tilly Canada Cooperative is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager - Corporate Collections to join our team. As a Tax Manager - Corporate Collections, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Coordinate Tax Planning and Compliance Services: Work closely with all Tax Partners and other Senior staff on personal tax compliance and tax advisory engagements.
  • Manage Risk and Financial Performance: Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings.
  • Review Assessments and Correspond with Authorities: Review assessments and correspond with the IRS, state authorities and CRA on various issues.
  • Build and Manage Client Relationships: Build and manage client relationships at a senior level; advise clients by delivering high quality tax service and advice.
  • Mentor and Coach Staff: Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential.
  • Support Firm Staff: Supporting and mentoring firm staff in respect of tax matters.
  • Identify Client Service Opportunities: Identify client service opportunities.
