Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment life
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics to identify and repair complex equipment issues
  • Perform complex repairs on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Work with minimal supervision to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the shop

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or in a related field preferred
  • Valid Red Seal (Heavy Duty) certification an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
