Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At TANDOORI TIME INC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our staff, training and developing their skills, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Standing for extended periods and walking
